Saracen pirates – an event for children

Relive the historic raids by pirates along the Ligurian coast, in a new game for children in Finale Ligure.

The coastline of Liguria was attacked many times by ferocious armed pirates in fast boats, who laid waste to the area.

The only way for people to defend themselves and their property was to spot the enemy boats quickly enough so that they could be prepared. So they relied on the system of coastal lookout towers to protect their family and children from the continual attacks.
… and when you arrived at the top of the tower, would you spot the priates?
