Prehistory live: a themed week for children in Finale Ligure

How did people live in stone-age Finale?
The Happy Family Hotels group has organised an enjoyable and educational event in the atmospheric setting of the le Manie plateau above Finale Ligure.

Everyone gets involved in a journey through time to 7,500 years ago. We have created our themed week of Prehistory Live in conjunction with the La Sapienza University in Rome. Prehistory Live takes place twice a year (to look at photos of previous events click on the images). We will give our big and small guests the authentic atmosphere of how our ancestors might have lived in prehistoric Liguria, in the early human settlements.

Participants can make bread as it was made in the stone-age or take part in a 'pig hunt' (naturally already prepared for cooking!).

The highlight of the week is staying overnight in a grotto which was really inhabited in prehistoric times.

We will also go on walks to a number of archeological sites where astonomical rites were performed.
